Practice Management Working Group
Goal:
- To establish the best practice management for transplant anesthesia
Recent Initiatives (2022 – 2023):
- Review the UNOS mandates as the Director (ex., Director of Liver Transplant Anesthesia) and its implications to CTA and Peds anesthesia
- Review the compliance to the UNOS mandates, and seek the potentials for compensation
- Share the local management tips (team membership, training, work schedule, practice protocol, etc)
- Disseminate the “best” transplant anesthesia practice management via monthly lecture series and e-mail summary
- Create the Directors e-mail group for Q&A
