Program overview:

This SATA regional meeting provides the audience with updated knowledge on several critical
management issues in the liver transplant patients population.

Learning objectives:

Update the audience on new approaches in the assessment of patients with acute liver failure
and perioperative management.
Update the audience on the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to liver transplant
patients for preoperative workup and optimization.
Update on the effects of the current COVID 19 pandemic on the liver transplant practice in the
USA and the world.

Target audience:

Transplant anesthesiologists, intensivists, transplant surgeons, hepatologists, cardiologists,
residents, and fellows
