Learning objectives:
At the end of this session participants will be able to:
1. Understand techniques used in liver transplantation for blood conservation
2. Identify the optimum preoperative cardiopulmonary workup in the liver transplant
patient
3. Understand new techniques for pain control in the lung transplant recipient
4. Identify the effects of hyperammonemia in the lung transplant patient
5. Understand changes in allocation policy in heart transplantation
6. Assess the intraoperative management of coagulopathy during heart transplant
7. Recognize the difference in outcomes between NRP and OSC DCD heart transplantation
